I hope all of our CollinGOP members have been safe and secure during this public health and economic pandemic. Fear of the unknown has caused panic and chaos among the news media and many Americans. I am so thankful we have President Trump and Vice President Pence in office for such a time as this. They have been remarkable in using Godly wisdom addressing the needs of the States and the American people, Praise God!
Prayer is Needed at this Pivotal Time
We have been experiencing many “shakings” in our nation from the pandemic. Why has God allowed so many to suffer, and experience grief? All of this has caused us to be put into a holy pause, reflecting on time with family, and time with God. During the pause, some of the foundations of this nation should be questioned and need to be reset “Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places.” Matthew 24:7 God is allowing this! These are difficult circumstances, and God is using them in miraculous ways, but we must not focus solely on the circumstances of now. Prayers for revival in the world and America are being answered as many are turning to God and coming to faith in Christ. We need to be praying about what will emerge once we get through this.
We must pray for the birthing of these “reset” solutions:
- Pray for the exposure of false solutions that are traps and will put in place insidious evil-no false, counterfeit foundations. “We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ” 2 Corinthians 10:5
- Pray for the total reset of every foundation God desires. “He set the earth on its foundations; it can never be moved: Psalm 104:5
- Pray for the protection of these foundations as they are birthed and fully developed in the branches and the departments of the government, Federal, State, and local. “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction” Proverbs 1:7
All new foundations must capitalize on individual freedoms and harness human initiative. WE are the solutions, not the government. The role of government in people’s lives must be diminished as religious freedoms flourish, allowing the Church to be effective. Any economic theory outside of God’s direction will bring disaster. Reliance upon human wisdom will always come up short. We must pray for supernatural wisdom to be put into place throughout our government. (adapted from IFA President Dave Kubal)
